According to KBC, Kenya Methodist University has awarded Chief Justice Martha Koome an honorary Doctor of Letters degree.
The honour recognises her contributions to law, human rights and justice, the broadcaster reported.
The degree was conferred by the university's chancellor during the institution's 26th graduation ceremony, which took place on Saturday at the main campus in Meru, according to KBC.
