China International Import Expo opens in Shanghai with thousands of exhibitors

The annual trade fair has drawn over 4,000 overseas companies to a massive exhibition space, according to KBC.

The 9th China International Import Expo opened on Thursday in Shanghai, according to KBC.

The event, which runs from November 5 to 10, has attracted 4,142 overseas exhibitors seeking opportunities in the Chinese market, KBC reported.

The total exhibition area exceeds 440,000 square metres, according to the Ministry of Commerce as cited by KBC.
