The government is exploring the possibility of extending HPV vaccination to boys, according to Capital FM.

PS Ouma Oluga said vaccinating boys could become an important part of the country's long-term disease prevention strategy, the publication reported.

The consideration comes amid low second-dose uptake among girls, according to Capital FM. The current vaccination programme remains focused on girls, Oluga said.
