According to KBC, Kenyan farmers will be able to access the Chinese market for dried chillies following approval from Beijing.

The Kenya Plant Health Inspectorate Service stated that dried chillies from Kenya have been cleared for export, subject to China's phytosanitary and food safety requirements, KBC reported.

The development is expected to create new opportunities for growers and exporters looking to expand agricultural trade with Asia, according to the report.
