According to Tuko, Safaricom has provided instructions for M-Pesa users who have paid the wrong Pay Bill account.
The telecommunications company advises affected customers to contact the merchant directly to resolve the issue.
Safaricom also points users to shortcode 456, which can be used to obtain contact details for Pay Bill merchants, according to the report.
