According to Kenyans.co.ke, the Kenya Meteorological Department has issued an advisory listing counties expected to experience heavy rainfall.
The advisory was released hours after overnight downpours led to flash floods and traffic jams in Nairobi, according to the publisher.
The publisher reports that neighbouring counties of Kiambu, Machakos and Kajiado were also affected by the flooding.
