According to Tuko, a Chinese groom concerned about having few guests at his wedding issued an open invitation to strangers on the internet.
The invitation reportedly drew approximately 10,000 people who attended the celebration.
Tuko reports that the guests brought gifts and assisted in organizing what became a large-scale wedding event for the groom.
