Muhoozi announces military exit, says he will focus on Christ

Uganda's military chief has announced his departure from the armed forces, according to Capital FM.

According to Capital FM, Muhoozi has announced he is leaving the military and says he will focus on Christ.

Muhoozi is the son of Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni, the report states.

He has served as Uganda's military chief since March 2024, when he was appointed to replace General Wilson Mbadi, according to the publisher.
