Equity Group reports 302% increase in spending on women-owned suppliers

Equity Group increased its spending on products and services from women-owned suppliers to Ksh 3.7 billion last year, according to KBC.

The figure represents a 302 percent increase from Ksh 923.5 million in 2024, according to the group's 2025 Sustainability Report.

The bank's total procurement budget grew to Ksh 52.8 billion, KBC reported.
