I&M Bank has hosted Nairobi City Thunder, champions of the Kenya basketball league, according to KBC.

In June 2026, the bank announced a KES 10 million investment in the team, becoming its Official Banking Partner for the 2026 Kenya National Basketball League season, according to the broadcaster.
