According to KBC, Kirinyaga Governor Anne Waiguru has announced that the county's economy has grown by 66 percent, with the gross domestic product reaching Ksh190.79 billion.
The governor made the remarks while highlighting what she described as nine years of transformation in Kirinyaga county, according to the broadcaster.
KBC reports that the county has also achieved Ksh1.1 billion in own source revenue, which the governor described as a landmark achievement.
