According to Tuko, Loise Wangechi Gitang'a from Nyeri has graduated with a Diploma in Water Technology from Mukurwe-ini.

The publication reports that Gitang'a previously sold mandazi before pursuing her studies.

Tuko states that she is now seeking employment to support her father, who is reported to be ill.
