According to KBC, Tanzania has secured $1.2 billion in commercial financing for the construction of Lot 6 of its Standard Gauge Railway from Tabora to Kigoma.
The report states the African Development Bank provided $800 million through a Partial Credit Guarantee, with the remaining funds raised from other financiers.
The financing facility is described as combining development finance and commercial sources, according to the publisher.
