Whether you handle government paperwork at a cybercafé, design logos from home or help clients with business registration, listing your service on a marketplace can turn occasional work into a visible, priced offer that clients pay for upfront. Kaziiko, a Kenyan digital services marketplace, invites individuals, businesses, companies, agencies and cybercafés to join and create listings in 13 categories, from eCitizen and NTSA help to graphic design, web development and AI services. Registration is free, there is no monthly subscription, and the site says experts set their own rates and delivery timelines.

According to the site, the first step is to register, complete a profile and upload credentials that prove your skills or experience. Kaziiko says it verifies the ID and skills of every expert before their first listing goes live, a process that takes 24 to 48 hours. Once verified, you build a service listing: write a clear title, describe what the package includes, set a fixed price and state how long delivery will take. The site encourages experts to offer package tiers so clients can choose the level of service they need.

Kaziiko charges a 15% fee on completed orders, which means the expert keeps 85% of the price the client pays. The platform says payment reaches your M-Pesa account typically within 24 hours of the client approving your delivery. When a client orders, the money is held in escrow until the work is done, so you are not chasing payment after handing over files or completed forms. The site lists starting prices across categories: government and eCitizen help from KSh 300, graphic design and branding from KSh 1,000, AI services from KSh 3,000 and website development from KSh 5,000, though each listing sets its own final price and scope.

Clients reach you through a private dashboard where they describe their requirements, upload documents and track progress. Kaziiko says every order has a chat thread, so you need not share your personal phone number. If a client requests changes, the revision process happens on the platform. If a dispute arises the Kaziiko team mediates, and the site says it can issue a full refund where appropriate. Reviews come only from verified buyers, which the platform describes as part of building trust over time.

For experts who already serve walk-in clients or handle requests by text, a marketplace listing turns informal work into a repeatable offer with transparent pricing. The free joining and pay-per-order model means you can test a category, adjust your packages and learn what clients value without upfront cost. Kaziiko is a private marketplace, not a government body, so it does not issue documents itself; it connects clients with the people who provide the service. The 85% payout and escrow system are the platform's own structure for turning a skill into trackable income.
