The Kenya Revenue Authority has collected Ksh 1.01 trillion in the first four months of the current fiscal year ending in October, according to KBC.
The authority attributes the increase to enhanced revenue mobilization, which helped it reach the milestone a month earlier than in previous financial years, according to the report.
The figure represents a record for the tax collection body during this period.
