Cabinet Secretary Chirchir has announced a new plan to accelerate construction of the Rironi-Naivasha highway, according to Kenyans.co.ke.
The road section failed to meet its October 30 completion deadline, the publisher reports.
According to the report, the government attributed the delay to global disruptions in bitumen supplies.
Despite the missed deadline, CS Chirchir maintains the road will be completed before December, Kenyans.co.ke states.
